How to check if your number is registered for DND:

How to activate DND?

If you no longer wish to receive telemarketing calls or text messages, you can sign up for Do Not Disturb (DND). If you want to activate DND service you can call 1909 (free call) from your landline or mobile and choose your option OR You can also register by sending SMS "START DND" or "START 0" to 1909.

TRAI DND Standard:

In 2007, the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) introduced the National No Call Registry (NDNC, also known as Do Not Disturb, DND) to restrict unsolicited commercial calling. i.e. any call/message, through a telecommunications system promoting any commercial transaction for goods, investments or services.
